Announcing year long courses in printmaking at Hot Bed Press starting in January 2013.
The Complete Printmaker will be taking on 12 students to experience a full ‘academic year’ of printmaking from monoprint through to etching, and screenprinting to waterless litho. This comprehensive course is suited to both beginners and experienced printmakers and will cover practical as well as a contextual background to print. Students will be supported and mentored to develop a professional portfolio, to hone their printmaking skills and experiment with new practices and different approaches to print.
This is not an accredited course. Students will be awarded a certificate of achievement from Hot bed Press at the end of the academic year.
Places are strictly limited to 12 students. We are not interviewing by portfolio. We expect to teach everyone to a high standard todevelop their work through print.
