The 10th Manchester Artists’ Book Fair run by Hot Bed Press is on this Friday and Saturday 11am – 5pm. It’s free to get in and there will be lots to see, do … and buy. See the amazing talent of artists from across the North West and farther afield. It’s always a pleasure to see so many wonderfully crafted and beautifully made books and so much more.
As well as over 40 stands of book arts this year is more action packed than any year previous with free workshops and have-a-go sessions for all abilities and ages. Click here for more details on workshops/events.
The fair is held at MMU’s Holden Gallery on Cavendish Street, just off Oxford Road; (M15 6BR for your sat navs and maps).
Also on this weekend on Saturday and Sunday between 11am and 4.30pm The Manchester Print Fair will be on at The People’s History Museum with 60 stands. Again it’s free to get in and lots to see and buy, plus Hot Bed Press will be once again working with our lovely friends at G.F. Smith paper to offer free have a go screenprint sessions on both days.
