As part of our 20 year celebration of a show at Warrington Museum & Art Gallery we are running a special Summer School of Print at the gallery between 30th July and 27th August.
Set on 5 Wednesday mornings between 10.00am and 12.30pm you can have a taster course in Monoprint, Drypoint, Japanese Lino, The Folded Book and Gum Arabic Transfer.
There’s only 7 people on each session so it’s going to be an exclusive group. You can join one session or all 5. (The cost is £30 a session or £110 for all 5 sessions.) Places are already booking up.
Taught by our great tutors, (Jeni Nuttall, Martin Kochany and Elizabeth Willow), there will be presses, special papers, inks and tools taken over so we will be setting up a print workshop in the gallery, (well in the lovely education room), and participants can be inspired by the work on the wall.
The schedule is as follows:
Week 1 Wed 30th July Monoprinting
Week 2 Wed 6th August Drypoint
Week 3 Wed 13th August Japanese Lino
Week 4 Wed 20th August The Folded Book
Week 5 Wed 27th August Gum Arabic Transfer
cost £30 per session / £110 for all 5 sessions
