The Neo:Print Prize is going up on the walls from today (7th September),with a week to tweak and get the space ready for the grand opening.
Hot Bed Press is proud to be working in association with Neo:Artists in Bolton, who are organising the print prize and exhibition. We are also putting up a prize of a free course at Hot Bed Press. There are lots of great prizes worth over £2,000. It’s so good to see such a high profile and well supported print prize in the region.
We are really pleased to be involved in this event and look forward to the show itself which opens on 13th September.
As selector and judge alongside Tim Dolphin; artist and ex-Head of Printmaking at MMU it was a hard slog of debate and cogitation, and to whittle down the over 400 prints to the strong selection on the walls was no easy task, but it was an immensely enjoyable one. Print is alive and kicking.
