It was great to see a good crowd at the launch night of The Salford Open on Friday night. The show has a strong mix of painting, sculpture, installation, drawing and print and is well worth a look.
Prizes were announced on the night and we are pleased to announce that the Hot Bed Press prize goes to Joanne Dunne, whose exquisite painting of a blackbird really caught the judges’ eye. We look forward to offering Joanne her one-to-one session in printmaking, plus 3 months membership and 24 hours free use to come and have a play in our great facilities.
Congratulations to Joanne and other prize winners, but also to Cow Lane Studios for putting on such a good show. It’s great to see the space next door used to such a good degree.
