It’s that time of year again when we start planning our 20:20 Print Exchange which has grown over the past few years since setting it up in 2009.
Last year 257 artists from 19 print studios took part and produced over 6,400 prints.We are expecting at least as many artists this year!
Hot Bed Press members are invited to take part. We are looking for 10, 20 or 30 artists from Hot Bed Press and will take commitment on a first come first served basis.
Each artist is asked to produce an edition of 25 prints in any medium on paper 20cm x 20cm. Cost per artist is £10.00. Works have to be produced by October.
In return you will all receive a random portfolio of prints from artists across the UK and Ireland in a specially printed 20:20 box.
We have already heard from print workshops the length and breadth of the country wishing to take part again, so expect it to be another big event. The 20:20 Exhibition is currently up at The Bluecoat Studios as part of a tour of 257 prints – one from every artist from the 2011 exchange. It is hoped that this years exchange will tour throughout 2013 to various venues.
