Courses going fast With our courses in full swing we are pleased to say that bookings are strong once again. Printmaking Starter, Photo-screenprinting, Letterpress, Poster Printing, Solar Plate and Expressive Print are all full, (and in fact have enough reserve places to run extra courses, which we hope to timetable soon after Easter).
Good news is that there are a few places left on Monoprinted Textiles: [13th & 14th February],Etching: [Tues 2nd - 30th March], Hard-Backed Books; [13th & 14th March],Reduction Lino; 20th & 21st March] and Portfolio Making; [Sat 27th March].Of all of the above there are only a couple of places left on each, and we expect that most of these will be full in the next few weeks, so if you are interested get in touch quickly! We are also proud to now be supported by J.F. Ratchfords book arts suppliers and Intaglio Printmaker printmaking suppliers. This is a really exciting development for us, and we believe that having such prestigious partners to our education programme will help enhance the courses and build our reputation as the regions leading print facility. New Sponsors We are very pleased to have the support of Intaglio printmaker and F.J. Ratchfords book arts suppliers as our two sponsors of the education programme at Hot Bed Press. These two prestigious partners will be helping us in the way of specialist materials for courses and outreach/education throughout 2010.
To have these two respected companies supporting us is a great boost to Hot Bed Press and brings a kudos with it that recognizes our role in supporting printmakers and book artists both in the region and nationally.
We now have over 300 people attending our courses throughout the year as well as groups of students and guest groups benefiting from our knowledge and expertise.
This partnership will once again help raise our standards and improve provision of the best materials, which we are proud to say are all inclusive on every course.

Supporting Printmaking and Book Arts We also expect to announce further exciting developments in working with our two partners in the New Year, including special promotions and projects to be announced.

Expansion We are currently working on getting funding for our expansion. This is a long process but we hope that it will be successful and we can create 9 studios on the top floor and to open up 3 studios on the 1st floor to expand the print area. It will cost in the region of £20,000+ to make improvements.
We estimate that it will take up to 3 months to get the top floor up to scratch, improve lighting, paint and to build the studios.
Fingers crossed 2010 will see a rapid expansion and more improvements and investment into the future of Hot Bed Press.
