We will once again be running The Seventh Manchester Artists’ Book Fair at Manchester School of Art in the Holden Gallery. This year the fair will be held over two days, Friday 12th and Saturday 13th October. It is open to all and free to get in.
We are also excited that the book fair will be part of the Manchester Weekender, with other events nearby on and around Oxford Road including the Paper exhibition at Manchester Art Gallery as well as launch events at The Cornerhouse and The Whitworth Art Gallery and various pop-up events.
We have once again joined forces with Special Collections who will be showcasing its collection of artists’ books as well as an exhibition of works by Anthony Ratcliffe, and we will be holding a morning of special talks with guest speakers who have collaborated on artist books.
This year stands booked up quicker than ever and we are provisionally full, with 45 stands taken up by artists and designers from all over the UK.
For all enquiries contact Sean Rorke or Karen Mercer on 0161 743 3111 (from Wednesday afternoon to Friday of each week), or e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org marking your e-mail Manchester Artists’ Book Fair 2012.
