Part photography, part printmaking, these fascinating techniques transform photographs into intense images that have great depth and impact. John will take you through how to produce a strong positive, how to coat papers for both cyanotypes, (vibrant striking blue), and its cousin Van Dyke brown prints, (a deep sepia tone), and to expose your image using a ultra-violet light box. The outcome reveals itself right at the end with startling results. John is a renowned photographer and expert in 19th century photographic processes.
