How could we resist promoting such a noble cause!

On 4th September, HBP Studio Manager, Christine Evans will be taking part in the Christie Manchester 100 Bike Ride. This means 100 miles in 1 day! I’m exhausted just thinking about it. She reports that so far the training is going well and all the money raised will go to Christies who do such wonderful work in supporting people and their families affected by cancer.

Saturday Print Sessions are returning! On Saturday 28th of May we will be open from 11am to 5pm.

It’s great news for all, but especially for those of you with day to day jobs. We are super happy to announce that due to our wonderful crew of Studio Managers we are re-booting our monthly Saturday opening!

We’ll generally be looking at the last Saturday of the month, depending on when workshops are booked in. So the first one is this month! On Saturday 28th of May we will be open from 11am to 5pm giving you access to weekend printmaking.

We’re really happy to bring this back into operation and please feel free to call or email the studio to book your screen-bed or just let us know that you’re coming. There’s something just a little different about Saturdays in the workshop, a little more laid back and Mediterranean. I’m not sure what it is, but its good! It’s be great to see you there.

Yikes! This is tough news to deliver, but here we go…

Unfortunately, we have been forced to increase our prices to keep our heads above water. We still aim to be as affordable as we possibly can. Practically, it means that Studio Hire will rise to £2.50 an hour (Cards will still be £20 but they will be for 8 hours instead of 10) and most materials will be going up by 20%.

The price increases will be implemented as of 16th of May. We’re really hoping that it won’t hurt too much and please be assured that we are doing all we can to stay affordable and accessible to all.
