A word for our sponsors

We are very pleased to have the support of Intaglio Printmaker and Ratchford who support our courses through materials, which has boosted the quality and quantity of materials we offer free as part of all our courses.

To have these two well known companies supporting us is a great boost to Hot Bed Press and brings a kudos with it that recognizes our role in supporting printmakers and book artists both in the region and nationally.

We now have over 300 people attending our courses throughout the year as well as groups of students and guest groups benefiting from our knowledge and expertise.

Supporting Printmaking and Book Arts

As well as supporting our education programme with their lovely materials, Ratchfords have generously offered to support a residency scheme in book arts at Hot Bed Press, which started in January.

Our first resident book artists are nearing the end of their residency which was extended to give them more access. It has been great to have Sophie, Caitlin and Libby from Parlour Press with us, and we are looking forward to marking the end of the residency with an exhibition, which Parlour Press are planning as we speak.
It has been great to have Ratchfords Book Arts Suppliers supporting this scheme. We hope to announce more residency opportunities in the coming months.

This is also aimed to be the first of many residencies to come and we hope to launch a letterpress residency in 2011, for an artist to make good use of the letterpress facility, and to produce a new body of work.
